Dear School Parents:
Although
it’s summer, our TSP Board of Education and staff continuously make
plans for the 2008-2009 school year. Recently, the Board announced
that Mrs. Myra Farrell will return as Administrator of TSP. We’ll
call her the “Principal” for now rather than “Headmaster.”
Also, the Board diligently prayed and searched for a suitable Language
Arts teacher for Grades 5 through 8. God has answered those prayers
with “Yes!”. We welcome Mrs. Candy Esch, a member of St.
Paul. Mrs. Esch brings to TSP her extensive background and expertise
in English and literacy instruction as well as her love for working with
“middle-school” students.
The physical, vision, and dental examination forms do not format well for
the website. If your child will participate in sports, we have
included with this letter the necessary physical form. Other
health-related forms are included if your child is in grades K, 2,or 6
according to the state requirements for the 2008-2009 school year.
Students entering:
*Kindergarten are required to show proof of a physical examination
and a vision examination before October 15, 2008 and a dental examination
before May 15, 2009;
*Grade 2 are required to show proof of a dental examination before
May 15, 2009;
*Grade 6 are required to show proof of a physical examination before
October 15, 2008 and a dental examination before May 15, 2009.
**Note: Students entering Grade 5 no longer require a physical
examination. Students entering Grade 6 who have a physical examination on
record from Grade 5 will not be required to get another this school year.
If the forms you need were not sent in this mailer, please call the school
office and we will mail them to you.
Below you will find three documents that make up the summer mailer. Reviewing
these documents before you register your child will save you time during
the night of registration. Registration
will take place on Tuesday, August 5, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
